Movements and Change: Race and Justice across Africa Today Online Panel
The Office of the Associate Provost for International Activities and the MIT Africa Steering Committee invites you to an online panel discussion which will feature leading voices from the African continent and the African diaspora who are engaged in critical public discourses around race and reform across diverse African contexts and different media.

12:30p – 1:30p Panel discussion
1:30p – 2:00p Breakout sessions with panelists (open to MIT community only)

Speakers:
Bukola Adebayo, senior producer for CNN Digital bureau in Nigeria, where she writes breaking news, enterprise, and distinctive reporting of African stories for CNN International. 

Khalid AlBaih, Sudanese artist and political cartoonist; creator of Khartoon!

Hlonipha Mokoena, Associate Professor, Wits Institute for Social and Economic Research (WiSER); author of Magema Fuze: The Making of a Kholwa Intellectual

Jemima Pierre, Associate Professor, Department of African American Studies and Department of Anthropology, UCLA ; author of The Predicament of Blackness.
